Information Sharpley processes
Sharpley may process account and profile information, company settings, customer and contact records, estimates, invoices, jobs, calendar events, uploaded job images, team information, support conversations and technical records needed to operate and protect the service.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate users, provide company workspaces, save and display business records, generate documents, operate requested product features, process subscriptions, respond to support requests, maintain reliability, prevent misuse and improve the service.
Company customer data
Each subscribing company controls the business information its authorized users enter. Companies are responsible for having an appropriate legal basis to store customer, employee and prospect information and for responding to their own customers’ privacy requests.
Service providers
Sharpley relies on specialized providers for hosting and storage, authentication, subscription payments, mapping and address functions, communications and AI assisted support. These providers process information only as needed to deliver their services and under their own applicable terms and privacy commitments.
Payment information
Subscription checkout and optional customer invoice payments are provided by Stripe. Businesses that enable invoice payments connect their own Stripe account and provide business, identity, bank and tax information directly to Stripe. Sharpley does not receive or store full payment card numbers, card security codes or connected businesses’ bank account credentials. Stripe may collect billing, tax, identity, fraud prevention and payment information under Stripe’s privacy policy.
Retention and deletion
Workspace information is retained while an account is active. If access is suspended for billing, Sharpley retains the company workspace and its connected records and files for at least 12 months so the owner can restore access. Account owners may request assistance or deletion through the Support page. Some records may be retained longer where required by law or legitimate business obligations.
Security and limitations
Sharpley uses authenticated access and company scoped authorization for protected workspace data. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Customers should use unique login credentials, limit access to appropriate personnel, remove former users promptly and maintain exports of records that are critical to their operations.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the product, providers or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
